How many times have we visited a museum for seeing the artworks exposed?
How many times have we stop ourselves in front of a painting for looking at it?
How many times have we put our attention not only where the artist wanted, but over it?
With this project about frame I want to analyse how this instrument is used to convey our look inside itself; enlightenment the limits that separates the artwork from the context.
Generally the meaning of a frame is to create a limit and to close the opera underlining the space between artwork and wall.
Thought this photos i’ve tried to discuss this meaning using a space that is represent as an artwork that doesn’t finish inside but continues outside.
The concept is repeated by real frames positionated over the photos

Branches vase
How much important is emptiness?
Without it, we wouldn’t be able to move, to image.
This series is made using branches of tree for doing the silhouette of vases that remembers the original plant.
Using the color of burnt terracotta, I also tried to recreate the texture of the branches.
Using four different tree for inspiration I created four series of three vases and I think to continue on this possibly endless art work.
